So, what does that mean in your day to day life?
You wanna make sure you are eating an adequate amount of protein in your daily diet to support your goals and this will vary from person to person. We don’t think you should stress too much about the minutia details of this, but their are many tools available online which will give you some guidelines to suit you more closely.
What do we recommend?
Ensure you are getting a portion of protein in each main meal of the day, or two meals with protein and a shake post workout. This will help your body recover and you to build lean muscle.
Where can you get it from?
This depends on your dietary requirements but fish, poultry, meat, nuts, lentils and pulses will be where you can find the most protein. You can also supplement with a protein shake, either Whey or Vegan if you are struggling to get enough in throughout the day.
Importantly, don’t stress too much about it. If you have a relatively healthy diet, you should be pretty much getting everything your body needs. If you need a little boost, our protein shakes range from 22-32g of protein, along with lots of other essential nutrients to ensure you are refuelled nicely after a session.
